Overview of The Equipping Series

While the Discipleship Series focuses on educating Christians in the core teachings of the Christian faith, the primary goal of the Equipping Series is to educate men and women to evangelize non-Christians, to disciple Christians, and to develop Christian leaders within their spheres of influence.

The Equipping Series consists of discussion documents that you can use to train leaders—both inside your church (your current and aspiring leaders) AND outside your church (such as pastors in your city and region).

The broad categories of training include:

  1. Core Documents

  2. The Book of Acts and The Apostolic Cycle

  3. The Letters to Timothy and Titus

  4. Church-based Evangelism and Missions

  5. Church-based Discipleship

  6. Counseling in the Church

  7. Applied Biblical Studies

  8. Implementation and Evaluation

For each document, distribute the web link or hard copies at least one week in advance. Encourage your current and aspiring leaders to read the document before coming to the leadership meeting.

When you come together:

  3. Read and Discuss the Questions at the Top of the Page

  4. Discuss Ways to Implement One or More Concepts from the Document in Your Church
