The Gathering Network
What is the Gathering Network?
The Gathering Network is a community of like-minded, gospel-centered leaders dedicated to Jesus’s mission: to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:18–20; Mark 13:10; 14:9; Luke 24:44–49; John 20:21–23; Acts 1:8; 22:21; 26:16–18). We meet in homes to evangelize and disciple our neighborhoods, and we gather in other settings to equip leaders (Acts 2:46; 5:42; 20:7, 20; 1 Cor. 11:17–34; Eph. 4:11–16; Heb. 10:19–25).
Our focus is training men and women to evangelize non-Christians and disciple Christians within their personal networks—including family members, friends, and neighbors. Our global vision is to start, strengthen, and multiply churches by building up the body of Christ in four key areas: in homes, in cities, in regions, and throughout the world. We pursue this vision by producing and utilizing training resources in evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development.
This website is designed to facilitate conversations between seasoned leaders and emerging ones. It also serves as a platform to recruit and train new leaders for your ministry. For your convenience, we offer print-friendly versions of our main diagrams to help you teach and lead others.
For a concise overview of our ministry approach—from evangelism to discipleship to leadership development—please see the Implementation page. Our goal is to align our ministry to the way the resurrected and reigning Jesus led his apostles. Our approach is grounded in a concept we call The Apostolic Cycle.
